The cost to paint a room will vary greatly based on the amount of preparation needed for the surfaces. Both the size of the room and the quality of the paint used are important factors. A     12 ft. X 12 ft. room will require 2 gallons of paint. Good paint costs $30- $50 a gallon. For this room plan on $100-$200 minimum.
